We always have the most recent model-year BMWs on hand, including X, M and i vehicles.

While we do not offer traditional manual transmissions, many of our vehicles are equipped with the latest performance automatic and dual-clutch transmissions that offer manual control.

No. All classes require the use of a BMW Performance Driving School vehicle.

No. We keep only the most recent model-year vehicles on hand for classes.

You must be at least 15 years old with a valid driver’s permit for Teen School. For all other schools, you must be at least 18 years old and must present a valid driver’s license upon check-in. No prior performance-driving experience is required except for Advanced M School, which requires previous participation in regular M School or an equivalent performance driving school.

The track will have sections set up with cones; however, most events take place on road courses.

Class sizes average from 12 to 18 people. If you would like to book a specific date that is already full, please contact the BMW Performance Driving School at 888-345-4269 to have your name put on a waiting list.

Teen School, Driver’s School and M School all start at 8:30 am and go until about 4 pm. Morning classroom sessions average one hour, and there is a one-hour lunch break around 12 pm. Before each exercise, an instructor will go over the objective with you for a few minutes. Otherwise, you are behind the wheel of an Ultimate Driving Machine^®. Please note, for Teen School and Driver’s School, you will be sharing a vehicle and driving time with another participant. All M Schools are in individual cars for maximum driving time.

Please note the Summer hours for our Performance Center West location only. Classes in Thermal will begin at 6 am, June 1st through September 30th. Please check your confirmation email for details.

Every event we have scheduled is held rain or shine, so bring clothing appropriate for the day’s activities. If severe weather does cause us to close, we will reschedule your event for a later date.

Dress comfortably. T-shirts, jeans and shorts are allowed. Most important, please have comfortable, closed shoes for driving (thin soles are best). Open-toe shoes are not permitted.

Helmets are not required.

Cancellations for a full refund must be made within 60 days of your payment date. Cancellations made after the 60 days of payment will receive a credit to use toward another date or event. There will be no rescheduling if the cancellation is made within 14 days of your school or event.

It is complimentary for you and one guest. Additional guests seats are $350 each.

Drivers do not leave with an SCCA license in hand.

Race License School will satisfy the driving and racing procedure portions of the licensing requirements. Drivers will still need to fill out an application with the SCCA. For more information, please visit the SCCA website.

We will provide an SCCA license application packet upon arrival, but we ask that you please download your own application prior to arrival to familiarize yourself with all of the SCCA’s requirements.

We are authorized to provide recommendation for a FULL COMPETITION license, but we reserve the right to offer a NOVICE license only if we deem the participant is not yet ready for full competition.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a dated Certificate of Completion and have one year to apply for their SCCA license.
