Drifting isn’t about losing control – it’s about gaining it. BMW M Drift Academy puts you behind the wheel of a BMW M car, where you’ll train on our polished concrete skid pad and learn how to control understeer and oversteer. You’ll look good doing it too.

They bring their expertise to you as they explain how to hold the car at the limit. Of course, you might spin out a few times, but they’ll always encourage another try. By the end of the day, it could be you who holds a drift with ease.
Learn by Doing
Drifting isn’t about losing control, but about maintaining it. You’ll get behind the wheel of a BMW M car, turn off the traction control (actually, we will), and then practice getting the tail end of the car sideways. Everyone has an “ah-ha!” moment where it all comes together – now you’re a drifter too.
The Great Figure 8
We set up cones on our giant concrete skid pad in the shape of an 8, and then let you hone your newfound drift skills as you slide around turns, gain control in straight lines, and then kick out again in a figure 8 pattern.

Is the M Drift Academy available in South Carolina as well?
No. We currently offer it at our Thermal, California, location only.

How old do you need to be to participate in BMW M Drift Academy?
You must be at least 18 with a valid driver’s license on the day you arrive.
Can I film myself while driving?
We allow the use of GoPros to be set up if time permits.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations for a full refund must be made within 60 days of your payment date. Cancellations made after the 60 days of payment will receive a credit to use toward another date or event. There will be no rescheduling if the cancellation is made within 14 days of your school or event.

How old do you need to be to participate in BMW M School?
